These are all words clients have used to describe what I do while we are in the process of working together. Saying I am a “social media consultant” doesn’t really get to the core of it. I certainly do evaluate and help you with your social media marketing efforts. I also help you gain control of your website, the tools that you use, and teach you what you need to know to be successful. I help you gain confidence in yourself and your business. I help you match your online identity with the work that you are already doing in your business. I set you up to be successful in your efforts by increasing your comfort level with the tools, helping you see the opportunities and recognize the risks, and helping you navigate the change.
I founded Good Stuff Communications, the Social Media strategy and Digital Marketing firm in Vermont, in 2010 because I saw a clear need. I wanted to teach Vermont small businesses to begin marketing themselves and their businesses online. I have always loved teaching, technology, design, and community building. This business is a way to express this love, and to help people find new and innovative ways to market their businesses. I knew that the world was shifting, and businesses were going to need internal and external communications plans – and that I had a knack for helping develop sound strategy, teaching new tools to people, and finding creative ways to approach challenges. I have an MBA in Organizational and Environmental Sustainability from Antioch University of New England, and I wanted to use what I had learned in this wonderful program to make a difference.
My goal is to help you. Through Good Stuff, I work directly with you to understand your needs, then develop a Customized Digital Media Marketing and Communications plan that suits those needs.
