I created Fire Jon Barry to enter a contest, and ended up winning the $10,000 prize for creating the best website dedicated to this serious basketball nerd cause.  The site was designed to be completely irreverent and speak directly to the hardest core NBA basketball fan, a person who not only knows who Jon Barry is, but also that he is a terrible basketball announcer.  The inspiration for the site was the legendary Fire Joe Morgan.
